I have a friend who grew up surfing in california, but lost his sight due to a rare congenital problem in his 30's a couple of years ago. We are coming to Maui on April 14th, 2012 for one week with our families. He and I do a lot of tandem cycling and we've rented one in Lahaina, but I'd love to give him the opportunity to surf in Maui. He has been surfing a number of times since losing his sight, but always with his surfing friends. Unfortunately I don't surf.
